GPU rendering and gpu mode look bad (3090 TI)

This is how my scene looks in the viewport with gpu mode enabled

This is how it looks when disabled.

Renderings turn out about the same. Drivers are up-to-date (572.47). I tried renaming the optix7cache.db file as suggested in another topic, didn’t change anything. I am using Keyshot for two years now, I had this problem a few times in the last couple of month but a restart of KS usually fixed it. Now I am getting too bright areas all over objects all the time when using GPU mode.

edit: I changed the drivers to the Studio Drivers 572.16 (Jan 30), no change, same problem.

Officially the latest supported drivers are still those from September 2024. I personally run also the latest drivers 572,47 but it’s not without issues when doing certain things in KeyShot.

I doubt this is a render issue though, hard to tell without the scene (feel free to send me a private message so I can take a look). It looks like caustics is enabled and there’s really strong light in the scene. I always try to keep values realistic, and you can try to see how it works withouty caustics.

Another thing that comes to mind, check the scale of the bottle. If you for example have the bottle at 2 mm high instead of 200 mm you will often get render issues and it’s quite easy after importing it mess up the scale.

Thank you, I will check the sizes and the lights, it’s absolutely possible that I did mess up there.
